TRT

TRT is a medical treatment designed to restore healthy testosterone levels in men with low testosterone ("Low T"). It can improve energy, mood, muscle mass, strength, focus, sex drive and overall well-being.

Men experiencing symptoms of low testosterone such as:

  • Fatigue or low energy
  • Decreased libido
  • Difficulty building or maintaining muscle
  • Mood changes, brain fog, or irritability
  • Poor sleep or recovery

Lab testing (bloodwork) is required to confirm you’re a candidate.

When properly monitored, TRT is very safe. We use regular bloodwork and follow-up visits to ensure your hormone levels stay in the right range and your overall health is protected. Your Novus physician will advise you of any possible risk factors before advancing treatment. We want you to be fully informed prior to treatment, so don’t hesitate to bring up any questions or concerns you may have.

Your initial blood work is free. After that, our treatment program is $29/week (Billed as a 10-week package for $290). Follow-up bloodwork costs $150 every six months. We keep costs clear and upfront. No surprise charges or additional fees.

Most patients notice improvements in energy, mood, and focus within 3–6 weeks. Muscle growth, fat loss, libido and full symptom relief may take 3–6 months.

TRT can lower sperm production. If you’re planning to have children, be sure to let us know. We can discuss alternatives, or supportive medications to help preserve fertility.

Yes, but stopping suddenly may cause symptoms of low testosterone to return. If you ever want to discontinue, the Novus medical team will guide you through a safe transition plan.

Blood Work and Labs

We are contracted with both Labcorp and Quest Diagnostics.
Your provider will determine which lab to use during your initial phone consultation, and you can visit the nearest location at your convenience.

  • Initial lab work before treatment.
  • Follow-up labs every six months.
  • Regular check-ins via telehealth to ensure your treatment stays safe and optimized.

After your short phone consultation, your blood work order will be emailed directly to you.

You can then take that order to your assigned lab (Labcorp or Quest) whenever it fits your schedule — no appointment required at most locations.

Most lab results are available within 2–3 business days, though some tests may take slightly longer depending on processing times at the lab.
Once results are in, our medical team reviews them promptly and will reach out to discuss your next steps.

Your initial lab draw is free as part of getting started with Novus TRT.
After that, we repeat labs every 6 months to ensure your treatment remains safe and effective. Each follow-up lab panel costs $150.

Prescription Refills & Reordering

At week 8 of your treatment cycle, you’ll automatically receive a text message asking if you’d like to refill your prescription.

Once you reply, an invoice will be sent directly to you. After payment is received, we’ll resubmit your prescription and have your next shipment prepared right away.

You’re always welcome to reach out to us at any time.
Simply text us at 480-925-8150 with any questions regarding your medication, refill status, or treatment plan. Our team is happy to help.

No — the price stays the same every time.
Each refill is $290 for a 10-week supply (just $29 per week).
This includes all medications and supplies necessary for your treatment.

Once payment is received, your prescription is processed and sent to the pharmacy right away.

Most patients receive their medication within about one week of payment.

Patient Support & Injections

All necessary needles and syringes are included with your shipment.
During your consultation, your provider will review your exact dosage and injection instructions.
To draw up your medication:

  1. Clean the top of the vial with an alcohol swab.
  2. Attach the drawing needle to your syringe.
  3. Pull back the syringe plunger to the amount of air equal to your prescribed dose, then insert the needle into the vial and push the air in.
  4. Draw back the medication slowly to your prescribed dose.
  5. Remove the needle, then swap it for a fresh injection needle before administering your shot.

(Don’t worry — the embedded video below shows this process step by step.)

Most patients inject into the glute muscle (upper outer buttock) — this site is typically the most comfortable and well-tolerated.
Some patients choose alternate sites such as the quad (front of thigh) or shoulder (deltoid muscle), based on comfort and personal preference.

To inject:

  1. Clean the skin with an alcohol swab.
  2. Insert the needle quickly and smoothly at a 90-degree angle.
  3. Inject the medication slowly and steadily.
  4. Withdraw the needle, then apply gentle pressure with a clean gauze pad.

Again, this process is clearly demonstrated in the instructional video below.

Play

A small amount of bleeding after an injection is normal and common.
If this happens, simply apply a sterile cloth or gauze and hold direct pressure for about 30 seconds.

The bleeding should stop quickly and does not indicate any problem with the injection.
